Amazing book. Great story about a real person hunting for treasures in the 60's/70's of the Amazon. While Elders writes a chronological history of his expeditions and experiences, you find yourself actually walking in the Amazon faced with the dangers of what you know from the history books, and the super natural which Elders describes having witnessed and experienced/5(42).
